President's Messege.....
I would like to extend a welcome to all visitors of the SICC web site. The SICC started in my garage three years ago as an idea with a small group of guys who shared one common love "the corvette".  As our numbers grew, we moved to the parking lot on Clark Ave. and Amboy Road.  In our short life as a true corvette enthusiast group, as of October 2006, we have registered and been approved by GM as a bonafide incorporated corvette club. Our members have accomplished all this and we are getting bigger and better every day. We are registered with the A.C.E., the Association of Chevrolet Enthusiasts.  There is basically only one requirement to be a part of our club; besides of course, the ownership of a corvette and that is friendship. The atmosphere is relaxed and exciting and when it comes to attending events; such as shows, cruises or the occasional racing event, it's our members that make this all happen.  We share many new and old story's about our experiences and our love and passion for the corvette runs deep. I have waited a long time to own a piece of history and I'm sure most of our club members feel the same.  However, the true passion to own what I consider the best sports car ever built, has been for me personally at least 30 yrs.  I am sure our members feel the same way!
We have our general membership meeting on the first Wednesday of every month from October until March at the Amboy Diner on Amboy Road, in the Pathmark shopping plaza, in Bay Terrace, also starting in April, the monthly meetings will be at the parking lot of clarke and amboy.  On sunday morinings, weather permitting we gather at Gateway Park off Hylan Blvd.
Thank you for visiting the website and come back often as our events change depending on the time of year. So, if you own a corvette or you are thinking of purchasing one, consider joining our club.  If you are an enthusiast and just want to stop by, visitors are always welcome!
